'Poppy',
beloved companion of the Perrone family crossed the
'Rainbow Bridge' all too soon. At the age of 6 years
young, a grave and unexpected illness took her life. She
came to Kent from the local pound where her future was
uncertain. As a wee, young girl full of life and fun she
stole our hearts and asked for nothing in return. Her
passage this way has left us broken hearted but
gladdened for the heartfelt memories that will linger
forever.

"Bonnie" Belle Bree
Springstun
Adopted from Kent
Animal Shelter, December 3, 1992

(BONNIE)
BELLE BREE SPRINGSTUN
Her beloved owner,
Carol Springstun, adopted Bonnie, a beautiful Sheltie,
from Kent Animal Shelter on 12/3/92. She was a New York
City dog with special friends in her Central Park dog
group. She enjoyed many weekends on Long Island’s
North Shore with grandparents, Betty and Hank. For 10
years she went to Camp Gone to the Dogs in Vermont with
her owner and loved swimming, games and being with camp
friends. She is already achingly missed since going to
Rainbow Bridge on 12/7/04.

In
memory of 'Buster' Mirell
Adopted
From Kent March 1998 - Went to the Rainbow Bridge Sept
2, 2004
Rescued
at the Kent Shelter gate in the middle of a snowstorm by
a Kent employee after being abandoned by a criminal and
uncaring individual, Buster was with us for only 5 1/2
years, but left us with wonderful memories of a loving,
smart and humorous companion. His co-adoptees (another
dog and two cats!) and family misses him greatly.

In Memory of Augusta "Gus" Hanrahan
1995
- 2001

Gus was a great little cat and a good friend. She
came into our lives as a stray and we thought we were
doing her a favor by taking her in. In fact, it was the
other way around: she made our lives richer every day
she was with us. She loved sitting on laps, playing with
her string, looking outside from her window seat, and
sleeping on pillows at night. When she got sick, she fought
right up the end and never stopped being her wonderful,
loving self. She was one of a kind and will be very missed.

In Memory Of Pepper Stagg
December 26, 1985 - February 20, 2001

Pepper was a very special dog. She loved to fetch
the newspaper and really enjoyed the water. Some of her
favorite times were when she was in Maine with her owners.
She was a beloved companion and is very missed!

In Memory Of Cody Mirell
February 17, 1991 - September 30, 1998

Cody was a Kent Shelter adoptee. He loved the water
and his yard. He was a loyal and faithful friend, loved
by all that knew him, and a great companion.

In Memory Of Brandy Rubin
Adopted From Kent 7/13/94 - Went To
The Bridge 2/22/04

She was called
Cocoa when we adopted her as a four year old from Kent
almost ten years ago. Re-named Brandy, she was loving,
loyal, joyful, and always eager to please. Ultimately
she taught us what true bravery is as she fought through
crippling arthritis the last years of her life. She was
our guiding light and we will always miss her.

In Loving Memory of 'Tazman' Green
constant companion of Steven and Pam Green
Throughout
our lives there is only one,
That
will light our days until our days are done,
Touched
by an angel, we were so lucky to be,
'Taz'
was the gift of a lifetime, so special you see.
When
the rain was falling, the day was bright,
His
sun would shine well into the night,
Each
day with this angel left us yearning for more,
His
beautiful face always there at the door,
To
welcome us home with loving care,
His
heart and his soul he was so willing to share,
He
gave of himself with unconditional love,
And
asked of nothing in return except a kiss and a hug,
So
new is the pain that cuts like a knife,
For
17 years we shared this beautiful life,
When
our days are complete and twilight draws near,
We
will not feel pain only gladness and cheer,
Because
we were lucky, so lucky you see,
To
have been touched by an angel,
So
happy to be.
