Sponsor A Kent Pet

If you'd like to help make sure that a homeless
cat or dog at the shelter goes to a good home,
but you can't adopt the animal yourself, please
consider sponsoring it. Sponsoring a pet costs
$20/month and provides shelter, food, and
veterinary care while the animal is at the
shelter. To sponsor a pet, please call Kent
Animal Shelter at (631) 727-5731 and someone
will be glad to assist you.

Rescued!

Kent Animal Shelter recently helped Best Friends Animal Society rescue dogs from Midwest
puppy mills, where dogs are held captive to breeders whose sole motive is profit. Dogs are
bred over and over again, kept in unsanitary and cramped cages their whole lives, given
little medical care, and never experience the joys of a loving home. Kent took 20 of the
dogs to our shelter. Help us give them a new life by adopting or donating today. Thank you!
Kent Animal Shelter Seeks Help In Plan To Build A New Facility
Click here to see a rendering of Kent's
proposed facility and learn more about our
plans.
Kent Animal Shelter's facility, originally built in
1968, is aging and in constant need of repair.
An architect has been engaged to design a
new facility that would significantly increase
Kent's capacity to help animals in need, and
plans are moving through review processes.

Pamela Green, Kent's Executive Director, is
actively seeking support from anyone who can
help in a meaningful way, either through
donations, serving on the Board of Directors,
or in other ways. If you can help, please
contact her by calling (631) 727-5731 ext 4 or
by email at
pamgreen@kentanimalshelter.com.
